What is our Web Service API

Our Web Services API offer a platform independent way to integrate our Services into any other applications. This allows businesses to take control of the integration of the data returned by our Services with an implementation inhouse available 24x7.

The Services that are available within our API are:

We deliver a fast, reliable and scalable set of API endpoints using RESTful architecture and JSON format.

 
NCOA New address

By matching your Name and DPID request against the NCOA database (derived from Australia Post's National Mail Redirection service), we can find new addresses of your customers who have moved and given us permission to respond with their new address details.

NCOA Inactive address

We can match your Name and DPID request against the NCOA database which contains people who have lodged a Mail Redirection service application and not given us permission to respond with their new address details. So rather than receiving the new address details, you will receive a flag in the response suggesting not to mail that record.

NCOA Deceased

The NCOA Deceased File is made up of people identified as being deceased on a Mail Redirection service application form. We will match your Name and DPID request against this file and flag the records belonging to people who have passed away in the response.

Telephone Append

Datawash will append the new or changed telephone number when clients provide the Name and DPID. Existing telephone numbers can be included with the data request and we will also verify if we match your existing telephone numbers.

We supply one or more telephone number we find, together with information regarding the name we matched against and the Confidence Level of the match.

Cloud systems are not used in any manner. Client data resides on a single machine during processing.

Datawash services are governed by and adhere to the Federal Government’s Australian Privacy Act. No client data is shared with other parties and is deleted from the Datawash servers within 7 days of processing with written confirmation of its purging.
